Wrucke Genealogy Info - If your name is Wrucke, with the "e" at the end, it is highly probable that we are cousins!   It is believed that the origin of all Wruckes are the original "Horicon Wruckes" dating back to an 1847 immigration .. if you are a Wrucke, and have information to the contrary, please send e-mail!

Tracking down the Wrucke name and/or looking for Wrucke Wroots?? - My family tree from Germany (Ludwig Christian, b.~1800 - Christian Friedrich, b. 1825) to Horicon, Wisconsin ; Horicon (Christian Friedrich - Friedrich William, b. 1851) to Minnesota (Good Thunder and subsequently to Minnesota Lake) ... to the present time ... NOTE! .. thanks to information provided by Wrucke relatives in Minnesota and in Horicon (Thanks much; Wendy and John!!), the Wroots go back to the 1700's - Hey, Mayflower, Schmayflower .. you gotta respect anyone venturing into Minnesota and Wisconsin in the mid-1800s - did they have Gortex back then .. ?? .. and since pictures don't lie, it is obvious that the Wrucksterbräu name has been associated with brewing for a long time ... :-)  Site expanded to include a written history as well as a "Wruck" page since it is possible, if not probable, that the Wrucke's who are short an "e" hold the key to the Wrucke German origins .. ?    My mom's maiden name was Kinsley, and her family tree and Irish roots are discussed as well.
