Packaging: |
Polyethylene containers, 25 kilos/litres. Other sizes are available on request. The headspace in the container is flushed with nitrogen. All containers are sealed with tamper evident caps. |

Product Use: |
Isomerised Hop Extract should be diluted to approximately 1% with de-ionised water before addition to flowing beer during transfer and prior to final filtration. Isomerised Extract can be used for minor adjustments of bitterness. Alternatively and without effecting the normal brewing process, a significant proportion of the bitterness (up to 50%) can be achieved with this product (highly efficient). If Isomerised Hop Extract is used to provide 100% of the beer bitterness, then a beta fraction may be required to be added to the wort kettle. |
Storage: |
Isomerised Extract is packaged with a nitrogen headspace. Full and unopened containers should be stored in a cool place, preferably 4 ° C. Once the container is opened, its contents should be used as quickly as possible. In some instances, at higher concentrations and colder storage temperatures, some iso-alpha acid may precipitate out. This precipitate re-dissolves readily once warmed to room temperature (20-25° C). |
Safety: |
No known health hazard in normal use. Non toxic in normal use. Solutions of Isomerised Extract are alkaline and, therefore, avoid contact with eyes and skin. In the case of eye contamination, irrigate with plenty of water. If symptoms persist, seek further medical attention as necessary. Non flammable and non-combustible. Spillages should be washed away with plenty of water. |
