Wendy and Stirling write, November 1996...

We are writing to you from Oakville, Ontario.
We are descendants from Dover, England. Our understanding is
that two brothers, William and Robert Whiteway, migrated to Canada.
One brother went to Newfoundland and the other to Prince Edward Island.
The latter would be my Great Great Grandfather. It would be very
interesting to hear from any of our would-be relatives from abroad.
My Grandmother Gertrude Whiteway wrote a book, that traces
our family tree and historical facts about Dover, Prince Edward Island.
