Notes & comments

As a long-time Parrothead and afficionado of the Hawaiian 'aloha' shirt who is located in Texas, it occurred to me one day that Texas also gets rather warm several months of the year; it also has beautiful and colorful wildflowers; and that a Texas version of the aloha shirt would be a unique and attractive alternative to the ubiquitous, but rather mundane, T-shirt. Thus, the 'Texas howdy' shirt, based on a genuine aloha shirt pattern.

The bluebonnet 'n' Texas flag shirts are available in sizes M, L and XL for $35 (plus $3.00 for Priority Mail). The chili pepper shirt will be available in limited quantities for $40 in mid or late July, so if you're interested in ordering one, best do it as soon as possible because the fabric I use to make them is difficult to obtain in quantities, particularly on short notice.

The Indian feather shirt is a one-of-a-kind as it is my understanding that the fabric company which printed it has discontinued that particular design. I have included it in the Web site to demonstrate some of the many possibilities of my Texas/Southwest concept. However, if you are keenly interested in the Indian feather design, please let me know via e-mail and I will do my best to track down another bolt or 2 or 3 of the material and get some into production. The same applies to the Western scene shirt.
