Quick and Easy Tzimmes

Combine:
  • 1 can of undrained yams in syrup
  • 1 can drained carrots (whole)
  • 1 can chunk pineapple in juice (use about 1/2 the juice)
Take aside about 1/4 of the mixture and mash together. Toss with unmashed portion. Add 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1/4 c. honey, a pinch each of cinnamon and nutmeg. Add 1/2 c. raisins and bake in a pan for about 45 minutes at 325.
