Island on the Edge of the World An illustrated talk on Britain's remotest island group, its wildlife, social history and spectacular scenery. |
In 1986, Stuart Lamb fulfilled an ambition by making a two week visit to the remote Scottish Island group of St. Kilda which lies 50 miles West of the Outer Hebrides. You are invited to share the unique history and spectacular scenery of St. Kilda through a 2-hour photographic presentation on this facinating part of Britain, now recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
St. Kilda, Island on the Edge of the World, has been well received by more than 40 outdoor activity, wildlife, photographic, amateur radio and general interest societies throughout the Midlands and beyond.
I am currently taking further bookings for presentations and am also available at short notice as a stand-in or standby speaker if required.
Please contact Stuart Lamb for further information.
'......a marvellous evening....... enthralling....' Pat Crann, Towy Valley Association
'...a fascinating presentation...I came home feeling quite disorientated, I felt I had actually been to St. Kilda...' Malcolm Fry, Mid-Warwickshire Amateur Radio Society.
