IPSA Research Committee # 12 (Biology and Politics) is dedicated to exploring the linkage between biology and politics. Practically, this translates into a variety of research foci: (1) policy issues emerging from the life sciences (bioethics, health policy, sex preselection); (2) evolutionary bases of human political behavior; (3) physiological influences on political behavior; (4) development of research methods to assay the linkage between biology and politics.
