Note 2: None of these margarines contain
any lactose. For the benefit of those who need to avoid casein
or who are vegan, I have added the following information.
"P" Indicates margarines that are marked "parve" or "pareve", a desigation by a
kosher-certifying body that no milk products of any kind are present.
"D" Indicates margarines that contain no dairy products but are made on
equipment that may at other times be used for products containing dairy.
"N" Indicates margarines that do not show this information on their packages.
Margarines that are lactose-free but contain casein have a
specific note saying so.
