BUILD THE BRIDGE
The railway bridge has collapsed and Julian the little engine is expected to arrive soon and try to
cross the bridge!
Lying on the ground are various pieces of the bridge that have to be matched to the gaps left in
the bridge. They are different shapes and have their own exclusive place to go - rather like a
jigsaw puzzle.
This game involves clicking on a piece to select it and then moving the cursor - but not dragging
the piece - to the gaps in the bridge. As the cursor passes over the gaps, the outlines of the
shapes of the missing pieces are described in a red line. When the cursor is over the correct
gap, click again and the piece jumps from its position on the ground and fills in the gap on the
bridge.
There is one piece that is clearly different from the others in that it has a portion of the railway
line on it. This piece cannot be moved until the other pieces have been placed first. They are
needed to support the final piece.
The scroll-bar is used to determine how soon it is before Julian appears and tries to cross the
bridge. If the bridge has not been completed he will have to go back, but if all pieces are in
place and the bridge has been rebuilt, he will be very grateful.
This game is about shape matching against the clock.
