Unlike most previous electronic pad systems, the SHERPA pad's SOFT TOUCH HIGH BOUNCE playing surface REDUCES the chances of developing that nasty "tennis elbow " which comes from playing on hard surfaces.

Every Single and Dual trigger Percussion Pad offers an ELEVEN INCH PLAYING SURFACE of HIGH BOUNCE SOFT TOUCH rubber while the Single and Dual Trigger Cymbal Pads, and the Dual Output Hi Hat Pad offer EIGHT INCHES of the same HIGH BOUNCE SOFT TOUCH rubber.

The Tom Pad (SP63STPP )and the Snare Pad (SP63DTPP) come equipped with a patent pending UNIVERSAL MOUNTING SYSTEM which is adjustable to fit ANY SIZE tom stand arm you choose to use. All pads are equipped with a standard 1/4 inch phono plug, requiring no special cables for that quick and easy set up.

The SHERPA SP63DTPP SNARE PAD (dual trigger percussion pad) combines both the RIM and the PAD triggers with crosstalk to give you PITCH BEND / LAYER and TONE SHIFT. Some MIDI interfaces do not offer pitch bend or layering of notes so we have built it into the snare pad for you.

TONE SHIFT:
With the proper sensitivity settings. (sensitivity setting may vary depending on the interface and sound source being triggered)Set a heavy snare sound to the centre, the PAD output, and a light tinny snare sound to the RIM output. As you play from the centre of the pad to the edge of the pad, the sound will move from a heavy to a light snare sound the way an accustic snare drum performs.

PITCH BEND / LAYER:
With the sensitivity boost switch set to on, when you play the pad lightly you should hear one sound. By slapping the pad hard you should hear the other snare sound or both snare sounds depending on the sensitivity you have selected. This unique feature is only available on the SHERPA SP63DTPP SNARE PAD (dual trigger percussion pad). All pads are equipped with a standard 1/4 inch phono plug, requiring no special cables for that quick and easy set up.
