• CABOT MUSIC has for the last fifteen years been supplying publishers in the UK and USA with musical arrangements, transcriptions and artwork for music books, sheet music and journals.
• Negotiations are continuing with Music Sales, IMP and other major publishers to license CABOT MUSIC to produce and sell its own musical arrangements and transcriptions of popular music. These include 'audition arrangements', consisting of lead vocal plus piano / guitar accompaniment, and band charts / transcriptions, consisting of individual instrumental parts.
• Promising contacts have now been made with FourFives Music, Bucks Music, Complete Music, de Wolfe Music, Maxwood Music, Bug Music, Westminster Music, Leosong, Eaton Music, Reformation Publishing and IQ Music with a view to using titles from the catalogues of these publishers for CABOT MUSIC's band charts and music books.
• CABOT MUSIC specialises in producing note-for-note transcriptions of pop, rock and jazz music. Of particular interest is the accurate notation of recorded piano accompaniments to vocal performances, rather than the melody-in-the-right-hand 'piano reduction' arrangements most often seen in music books. We produce both full 'rock score'-type band charts in addition to musical arrangements more suited to a standardised small group. A library of popular big band arrangements is also now available.

Most of CABOT MUSIC's musical arrangements are commissioned by Barnes Music Engraving Ltd for IMP, a major UK publisher, and typeset using the Amadeus system.
