NEVADA #1
Even for a dazzling, leggy Las Vegas showgirl, Nevada is exceptional. Her dancing partner and closest friend is an ostrich named Bolero. Her past is a mystery. And her life is about to take a turn for the weird, as a series of bizarre murders sets her on a collision course with a stalking ex-boyfriend, a drunken mystic, a would-be Godfather, and cosmic destiny.
NEVADA #2
When those about you are losing their heads, plus assorted limbs and extremities, keep dancing! Nevada tries, but it's not easy. Another dismembered corpse has surfaced...in the Nile Hotel's swimming pool. Rip is obsessed with a hieroglyphic virus in the casino's computer system. And Nevada herself is coming untethered in time. Cameos by Moses, Neanderthal man, and ancient Greece. Ook impatu, gah!
NEVADA #3
Something big is about to hit Las Vegas — and it ain't Wayne Newton. Nevada has just stabbed something inhuman to death in her dressing room at the Nile Hotel & Casino. Three thousand tourists are checking out of the place in a panic. And Raphael di Vesuvio's mob has just kidnapped the one man who knows what's really about to happen — the only wino in town who owns a flaming sword.
NEVADA #4
In another dimension, Nevada confronts all her mysterious hauntings at once: exploding sheep, a clockwork Neanderthal, depressing songs from the 'sixties, and a futuristic city with a freakish palace guard. Is she having a breakdown? Is it something in the Vegas water? Will she escape Caligula's orgy in time for work? Meanwhile, Nevada's disappearance means bad news — sometimes leading to convulsions and death — for some of her earthly friends.
