WORMCHARMING FESTIVAL

• 1 The area to be charmed by each team will not be greater than 3 ft x 4 ft, and will hereafter be referred to as "THE PLOT"

• 2 A team will consist of

• 3 Worming up shall be no longer than five minutes prior to the championship. During this period no worm should be caught or eaten. The Charmer must sample his/her solution used to dampen the soil (Note: Washing up liquid could damage your health).

• 4 The time limit for charming worms will be no greater than 15 minutes

• 5 The winning team is that which charms and catches the greatest number of worms in the alloted time.

• 6 The British Association of Worm Length Supporters (BAWLS) states that all worms must be returned to the ground after the contest.

• 7 Team entries must be submitted to the NORMANDY ARMS, BLACKAWTON, TOTNES, DEVON, TQ9 7BN, UK by 11.00 am on the day, or to the entries secretary. Plots will be allocated prior to the traditional march past, fifteen minutes prior to the contest, which takes place at NOON.

• 8 The international judge's decision is final.
