We are grateful to Fred's owners Elisabet Leven & Sven Westerblad (Rimbo, Sweden) for providing further information about him - Fred is International, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish and Dannish Champion. He is also Copenhagen Winner - 94, Sieger Berlin - 95, and Landessieger Nordmecklenburg - 95. He has three CAC in Germany and he needs four to finish. He is also a great producer as evidenced by Fred's daughter Tash Kurgan Saturday Night Fever who went Best In Show at the Swedish Afghan Club Show Skokloster 1995 under Sandy Frei (USA).
Update, November 30 1996 - Fred has had a fantastic year. He has been shown 13 times and he has achieved - 10 BOB included 1 all breed BIS, 2 BIS-2 and 1 BIS-5. And he won Skokloster both days. He is today number 11 at the list of the topwinning dogs of all breeds in Sweden and he is the second topwinning sighthound so far, Not bad by a dog, that is 8 years old.
