A Member of the North Wales Association of Male Voice Choirs

Since
it's formation in 1972, the Choir has performed many concerts in Britain and Ireland.
The Musical Director, Miss Marion Jones and Mrs. Alwen Enston , Accompanist, have
both been involved with the Choir from the start.
It is a Welsh Choir with thirty members of various occupations, some retired, drawn from rural areas around the village of Cymau near Wrexham, North Wales.
The Choir has a vast repertoire and is equally at home singing standard male voice songs, spirituals, sacred music, Welsh hymns, folksongs, items from operatic choruses and songs from the shows.
The Choir's reputation for being able to vary the programme to suit the venue was probably the prime factor in selecting the Choir to sing in two concerts, one formal, one cabaret, at the famous Winter Gardens, Blackpool to an audience of over eight thousand guests who attended the International Rotary Conference. The evening was a great success and the Choir was highly complimented receiving a standing ovation on their rendering of the Welsh love song "Myfanwy" and a selection of Welsh Airs.
The Choir has also participated in all the "One Thousand Voices" Concerts held at the Royal Albert Hall, London and the World Choir concerts at Cardiff Arms Park. The Choir also took part in The Celebration Concert at Cardiff Arms Park with Bryn Terfel, Edmund Barham, Boyzone and Peter Karrie
The Choir has given numerous performances at much smaller venues, often in aid of charitable organisations. Regular "Welsh Evening" concerts are held at the Beaufort Park Hotel, Mold , North Wales for tourists, from May to October.
