Sundargarh Bible School
Rev 7:9 (NIV) After this I looked and there
before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from
every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the
throne and in front of the Lamb.
Student testimony:
My name is Kamal. I come from a Hindu Brahmin
family from Balasore, Orissa. While I was studying at school I
became interested in spiritual things. I studied the Ramayana,
Mahabarata, Vedas, Cita and puranas from my family. But I was not
satisfied with these. I was going to the temple and worshipping
idols like my parents. I wanted to know more so I went to a Hindu
Ashram and I stayed there and had long discussions. At that time I
had a NT Bible with me. There I saw some verses that medicine is
essential for the sick and not the healthy. Jesus said I have come
to call sinners and not the righteous but the Hindu religion taught
that God kills the sinners and saves the righteous. I found they
contradicted each other. But the reality I understood. One night I
was attacked by an evil spirit which was pulling me out of my room.
At that time I prayed to Jesus that if you are true and the real God
help me from this danger and then the evil spirit went away. I felt
new in my heart. Lord Jesus touched my heart and then I believed in
Him and accepted Him as my personal saviour and Lord. I confessed my
sins and then I left that Ashram. Since that day I have been
witnessing for the Lord. If I will live I will live for Jesus and if
I die I will die for Jesus, that's my final decision. I threw my
Brahmin symbol away and my family were angry and they drove me out
of my home. I have been suffering much for Christ Jesus nevertheless
I am continuing to pray for my family. |
