Information for those wanting to
vacation in the Grand Circle Region of Utah and Arizona
Introduction
Most people have heard of the Grand Canyon but
there are five other National Parks only about 100-300 miles North of the Grand
Canyon in S Utah. If you are thinking of going to the Grand Canyon then combine
your trip with these other NP's and I promise that you will not be
disappointed. The Grand Circle Tour involves at least six national parks in NE
Arizona and SE Utah: Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Arches and
Canyonlands National Parks. Each National Park is distinctly different and
has its own character and the ones mentioned are all worth seeing. This region
has at least 10M visitors to its National Parks each year, half of them to the
Grand Canyon alone.
Other attractions are: Natural Bridges National Monument, Monument Valley,
Bicentennial Highway, Lake Powell, Glen Canyon, Meteor Crater, Petrified
Forest, Hwy 12 Scenic Byway.
