Joe Dallas does a great job of dispelling the myths propagated
by pro-gay Christians. The truth is the only thing that will set people free.
The Christian pro-gay agenda is a contrived lie that is destroying souls. The
misuse of data to substantiate homosexuality is frightening. Joe's love and
concern for the souls of homosexuals is what makes this good book a great book.
It takes courage to follow Christ. We can't make up the rules as we go along.
Joe Dallas is a good author.

According to Leanne Payne, there is if homosexuality is seen
for what it really is, and is then dealt with in light of Scripture - as a
condition to be repented of, forgiven, and healed through Christ. Written with
the author's usual depth and compassion, this book brings a message of hope to
those who suffer from homosexual neurosis and teaches those who minister to
them how to pray effectively for their healing. Leanne Payne uncovers the root
problems of homosexuality, reveals the major barriers to inner healing, and

| Homosexuality and the Politics of Truth by Jeffrey Satinover
Paperback (January 1996) Baker Book House; - get it at
Amazon
Scientists have not discovered a "homosexual gene."
Homosexuality is not innate ... it can be changed. What does science really
say? Psychiatrist Jeffery Satinover examines what is reported in the popular
press. Much of the research is flawed and most of it says that homosexuality is
changeable: nobody is just "born that way." The model that Dr.
Satinover develops is based on modern science and psychological understanding
of habit, compulsion, and addiction. "Homosexuality, he writes, "is
but one of the many forms of 'soul sickness' that are innate to our fallen
natures." Revered tradition and modern scientific research come together
to offer not just ! compassion but also hope in this startlingly new look at
one of the most contentious issues of our times.

| My
Genes Made Me Do It! A Scientific look at Sexual Orientation by Neil L.
Whitehead, Blair Whitehead
Change is possible We believe the book
is the most current, thorough, clear account, of to what extent homosexuality
is inborn (conclusion: 10%). It also explains how we become heterosexual.
Subjects include incidence, brain studies, hormone studies, twin studies,
culture. It summarises 8 years study on 1700 books, chapters and papers. The
first author has 30 years research experience.
Review: The Whiteheads lay the burden of proof upon those who seem to
have convinced the world that homosexuality is biologically driven. Clearly,
such proof does not exist, according to this study. Science has yet to prove
that homosexuality is anything more than one of the hundreds of choices each of
us makes throughout life. Read this book if you are interested in the truth.

The
War Within : Experiencing Victory in the Battle for Sexual Purity by
Robert Daniels They are silent sins, and
therefore some of the most difficult to conquer. The good news is that for men
who are battling pornography, lust and other sexual temptations, God has
provided several means of escape--all specifically fleshed out in this book
through wartime and naval analogies, scriptural teaching and personal
testimony. Complete with discussion questions, this book will take Christian
men to a new level of purity.

| Homosexuality
: A New Christian Ethic by Elizabeth R. Moberly
Review: Moberly really hits the nail on
the head with this book on a Christian view on how those dealing with
homosexuality can find healing in Christ. Although the book is written very
much like an essay or research article (which it probably was), the truth
behind what Moberly is saying is rewarding and incredibly insightful. She
offers the view that homosexual leanings are due mostly to a detachment from
the same-sex parent earlier in life. This thought, although incredibly
eye-opening and true, is presented as the ONLY reason and other views may need
to be considered. Great book!
|
| Same-Sex
Partnerships? : A Christian Perspective by John R. W. Stott
Review: This is a short, but very good
book concerning the debate about homosexuality and Christianity. Stott gives a
very clear and concise overview of important issues and arguments in this
debate. He offers some new insights into this issue as well as tackling the
usual arguments. I would recommend this book as a good starting point and
introduction for learning and thinking about homosexuality and Christianity.
Overall I believe the book to be an excellent work that is biblically based.
Stott is concerned not so much with being politically correct, but being
biblically accurate.

| Breaking
Free : Understanding Sexual Addiction & the Healing Power of Jesus
by Russell Willingham, Bob Davies
Review: The author speaks with rare
authority and insight into the complex issues related to sexual addiction. This
is a balanced approach, in that Willingham affirms both the effects of one's
family of origin and the responsibility of the addict to make mature choices.
He writes with compassion, yet with a force that motivates the addict toward
healthy life and relationships. Willingham writes from a Christian perspective,
pointing the reader to the healing power of Jesus Christ. Non-Christian addicts
may or may not wish to acknowledge the power in the Gospel, but I believe even
they will be greatly helped by this remarkable book. A must read for anyone
struggling with sexual addiction in any form.
Homosexuality
