This site contains a lot of links to other sites concerning Japanese culture
and current affair. There are sections architecture, culture ( modern and
traditional), business, history, geography..., basically everything.
All the links have a brief but informative description.

This site is designed for people looking for employment in Japan. I contains
a section of posts available and an area for you to advertise your
requirements. There are also pages of general information on applying for jobs,
customs and traditions, visa applications and even advise on taking your own
contraceptives.

Japan Net from NTT is a general interest site covering culture, education,
business, tourism and much. more. The content seems rather limited at the
moment.

Japan Web Guide mainly contains a large set of unreviewed links to Japanese
sites. The target sites do not in general have a large English language
content.
There are a few pages of general information of use to the tourist. The site
has not been updated for some time.

This site is written by a Japanese individual as a personal web site. It
contains a wealth of information on the customs and daily life in japan. It is
written in a very informal style.
There are also sections on language, assorted news items, pictures of Japan and
a selection of miscellaneous trivia.

This site contains two main features. The first is a set of pages outlining
various topics concerning Japan and giving links to various web sites covering
the topics. The topics cover all aspects of culture, history and modern life.
The second feature is an annotated
slide
show of modern japan consisting of 42 pages and a total of 77 images. Take
care though it takes a long time to go through the whole set.

The "Stanford Guide to Japan Information Resources" is a site with
a large collection of links grouped into categories. These include arts,
business, history, language, law, education and many others. The site as a
whole has lot of links but the sites are not reviewed.
