Chubu Weekly

The Chubu region is centred around Nagoya in Aichi prefecture. Their local newspaper has a good web site which gives a view of life a regional centre. The site seems to be limited to 1997, but there is an archive for the whole year. The articles are available in both HTML and PDF formats.
If, like me, you have trouble accessing the archives you can enter the URL directly like this. The list of issues can be obtained by viewing the source of the main page.
