Introduction

Situated on the rich pastureland overlooking the banks of the
Bayan and Tuul Rivers, our Ecogers are nestled among the traditional nomads of
southern Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. Far from the large ger camps and hotels
real Mongolian hospitality awaits the eco tourist venturing into an area
untouched by mass tourism.
You will be immersed in the lifestyle of
Mongolia's herders,
and get a unique change to experience nomadic life.
Rolling hills with evergreens surround the lush lowlands and are
home to such rare animals such as wolf and Siberian roe deer. Take
an opportunity to see more of the nearby landscape, interesting rock formations,
grassy slopes, and forest glades by ox-cart. If trekking is not for you
then try your luck with rod and line in the two rivers.
There's plenty to do from your Ecoger, and with the beautiful
surroundings and friendliness of the local people, a perfect relaxing and
rewarding holiday awaits you. The gers are available year-round,
so that you have a chance to experience winter in the Mongolian countryside as well.
The proceeds of the project go directly to
the local herders with whom you will be staying, and to the Khan Khentee
Protected Area Administration. For more information
about the Ecoger program, click any of the links in the menu.
