Wertman Researchers Meeting
Updated 24 August 2002.
My wife's maiden name is Wertman. Through the internet, several Wertman researchers found each other and planned a researcher's meeting for 1-2 July, 2000 and again for 17-19 August 2001 in Allentown, PA, and 16-18 August 2002 in Ashland, Ohio, 15-17 August 2003 in Lockport, NY, and 13-15 August 2004 in Danville, PA. along with a Wertman family reunion. Between thirty five to fifty five people attended each meeting and reunion. They formed the "Wertman Family Association" and have toured Wertman homestead and cemetery sites. I have scanned a few pictures and are now available through the Wertman Family Association web site with links available here. The official Wertman Family Association web site is found at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~wertman/ The next researcher's meeting and family reunion will be held in mid August 2005 in Bethel, Berks County, PA.
