He resided between 1865 and 1899 at Sandusky, Erie Co., Ohio. He resided after 1899 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He resided circa 1902 at 3237 Cambridge Ave., Toledo, Erie Co., Ohio. He died on 17 February 1902 at 3237 Cambridge, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio, at age 75. He was owned bakeries on Front Street and at 736 Market Street in Sandusky, Ohio.

Second Generation

1 George PRESTLER (11A.) was born circa 1856 at New York. Death date is unknown. He was buried at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio.

2 Katherine PRESTLER (11B.) also went by the name of "Kate and Kitty." She was born circa 1858 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio. She died on 4 February 1912 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. She was buried at Calvary Cemetery, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. She was never married.

3 William A. PRESTLER (11C.) was born on 13 July 1859 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio. He married Mary Josephine KAELIN (11C.$), daughter of (--?--) KAELIN, on 8 June 1887 at Sandusky, Erie Co., Ohio. They resided circa 1912 at Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, and circa 1924 at 24 Birckhead Place, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He died on 3 November 1924 at 24 Birckhead Place, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio, at age 65. He was buried at Calvary Cemetery, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He was a Church Vestment Salesman. They had six children.

4 Anna PRESTLER (11D.). She married Louis FESSLER (11D.$). She was born circa 1861 at Ohio or 1863. She and Louis FESSLER (11D.$) resided circa 1912 at Brooklyn, New York. I have no information on children.

5 Louise PRESTLER (11E.). She married Karl L. WINKLER (11E.$). She was born circa April 1862 at Ohio. She resided circa 1912 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. She resided circa 1933 at 2285 Castlewood Drive, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. She resided circa 1938 at 418 Boston Place, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. She died on 15 December 1938 at 418 Boston Place, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. She was buried on 17 December 1938 at Calvary Cemetery, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. They had two children.

6 Mary Magdalene PRESTLER (11F.) was born 1 November 1865 in Sandusky, Erie County, Ohio. She died 19 January 1944, Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio and buried in Calvery Cemetery in Toledo. She married Louis Frederick MENNITT (10A.) (See MENNITT Family Tree) on 6 September 1887 in Sandusky, Erie County, Ohio. SEE MENNITT FAMILY TREE for children of Mary and Louis MENNITT

7 Michael PRESTLER (11G.) was born circa 1869 at Ohio. He died at Chicago, Illinois. He married Ida HEMMINGER (11G.$), daughter of Jacob HEMMINGER and Adelaide (--?--), circa 1890. He and Ida HEMMINGER (11G.$) resided circa 1890 at Chicago, Illinois. Michael and Ida had three known children.

8 Frederick PRESTLER (11H.) was born on 23 December 1873 at Sandusky, Erie Co., Ohio. He also went by the name of "Fred." He married Justina (--?--) (11H.$) circa 1900. He and Justina (--?--) (11H.$) resided circa 1939 at 417 Prescott Street, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He died circa 2 April 1939 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He was buried at Calvary Cemetery, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He was a Branch Manager for Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company. They had four known children.

9 Nicholas PRESTLER (11I.) resided circa 1912 at Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois. He is listed as being a brother of Kate Prestler in her obituary in the Toledo Blade dated 6 February 1912 in 1912 at Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois. I have no other information on Nicholas.

Third Generation, Children of William A. PRESTLER (11C) and Mary Josephine KAELIN (11C$).

1 Karl PRESTLER (11C.1) was born on 30 May 1888 at Sandusky, Erie Co., Ohio. He died on 13 September 1894 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio, at age 6. He was buried at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio.

2 Albert J. PRESTLER (11C.2) was born on 28 April 1890 at Ohio. He resided circa 1911 at 34 Birchhead Place, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He died circa 30 January 1911 at Whitehaven, Pennsylvania. He was buried at Calvary Cemetery, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio.

3 Bertha C. PRESTLER (11C.3) was born on 29 March 1892 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. She was known as Miss Bertha Prestler in 1951. She died on 26 March 1978 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio, at age 85. She was buried at Calvary Cemetery, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. She was a Bookkeeper. She resided at Birmingham, Michigan and Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio.

4 Josephine PRESTLER (11C.4). She was born on 12 March 1894 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. She married Victor BRANDEL (11C.4$) on 11 February 1928 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. She died on 11 March 1987 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio, at age 92. She was buried at Calvary Cemetery, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio.

5 Mary PRESTLER (11C.5). She was born on 15 January 1900 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. She married Ralph Phillip CONNOLLY (11C.5$), son of John CONNOLLY and Mary MALONE, on 30 June 1923 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. She resided circa 1924 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio.
