Theodore MENNITT (20A.) was born at possibly, Alsa-Lorranin (family tradition). He married Katherine KANZLER (21A.). He died circa 1861 at Kenton, Hardin Co., Ohio. He died from sun-stroke while working in the field. He was farmer.

Second Generation

1 Louis Frederick MENNITT (10A.) was born on 5 October 1859 at Kenton, Hardin Co., Ohio. He married Mary Magdalene PRESTLER (11F.), daughter of George PRESTLER (22A.) (See PRESTLER Family Tree) and Magdaline ZIMMERMAN (23A.), on 6 September 1887 at Sandusky, Erie Co., Ohio. They resided between 1887 and 1891 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, between 1891 and 1898 at Sandusky, Erie Co., Ohio and between 1898 and 1944 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He died on 12 December 1938 at Sandusky, Erie Co., Ohio, at age 79. He was buried at Calvary Cemetery, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He was a Farmer, a Clerk and a Milk Truck Driver.

2 Theodore J. MENNITT (10A.) was born in July 1858 at Kenton, Hardin Co., Ohio. He married Anna E. MOORE on 28 June 1883 at Sandusky, Erie Co., Ohio. He died circa 1920 at Pueblo, Colorado. They had no know children.

1 Mary Magdeline MENNITT (5A.) was born on 7 July 1888 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio. She was also known as Mayme. She married William George DANIEL (4C.) (see DANIEL/DANIELS FAMILY TREE) , son of William F. DANIEL (8A.) and Mary Louise ERNEY (9C.) (see ERNEY FAMILY TREE), on 25 June 1908 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. After William died, she married Frederick Daniel GRIESER (5A.%), son of Andrew GRIESER and Ellen O'HERN, circa 1924 at Defiance, Defiance Co., Ohio. She died on 27 May 1960 at Defiance, Defiance Co., Ohio, at age 71. She was buried at St. Augustine's Cemetery, Napoleon, Henry Co., Ohio. She was a buyer for Tiedtke Department Stores.

2 Edward Louis MENNITT (5B.) was born on 5 September 1889 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio. He married Dorothy SCHWANZEL (5B.$) in 1930 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He died on 22 July 1965 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio, at age 75. He was buried at Calvary Cemetery, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. They resided at 4840 296th Street, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. They had no known children.

3 Louis Frederick MENNITT Jr. (5C.) was born on 30 September 1891 at Sandusky, Erie Co., Ohio. He was educated circa 1910 at St, John's College. He married Cora Loueen DAY (5C.$), daughter of (--?--) DAY, on 24 February 1916 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He died on 16 August 1970 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio, at age 78. He was buried on 19 August 1970 at Calvary Cemetery, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He was a Draftsman and owned Louis F. Mennitt Survey Co., retired in 1960. They resided at 3713 Westchester Road, Ottawa Hills, Lucas Co., Ohio.

4 Loretta Ida MENNITT (5D.) was born on 25 September 1893 at Sandusky, Erie Co., Ohio. Her middle name may have been Louise; ref: Barbara Gorney. She died on 16 May 1917 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio, at age 23. She Died of TB. She was buried at Calvary Cemetery, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. Loretta never married.

5 Albertina Louise MENNITT (5E.). She was born on 11 October 1894 at Sandusky, Erie Co., Ohio. She married Walter Scott REESE (5E.$), son of William Stump REESE and Margaret Alice ROUTZON, on 1 October 1913 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. They resided circa 1966 at 2403 Lawton Ave., Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. She died on 13 January 1983 at Grosse Pointe, Michigan, at age 88. She was buried on 17 January 1983 at Calvary Cemetery, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio.

6 Leona Justena MENNITT (5F.) was also known as Gusta. She was born on 15 July 1896 at Sandusky, Erie Co., Ohio. She died on 25 December 1896 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio, of Rheumatism. She was buried at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio.

7 Theodore Joseph MENNITT (5G.) was born on 4 March 1898 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He died on 11 April 1898 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio.

8 William Theodore MENNITT (5H.) was born on 2 June 1899 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He married Mary Camillus HICKEY (5H.$) on 11 August 1920 at Buffalo, New York. He married Marcella Maxine CARSTEN (5J.$), daughter of Charles CARSTEN and Grace REXROTH, on 24 July 1969 at Miami, Florida. After Lawrence Mennitt died, William Mennitt married Marcella Maxine Carson Mennitt on 25 July 1969, having no children from this marriage. He died on 22 March 1979 at Summit, New Jersey, at age 79. He resided at 14 Dyke Place, Summit, New Jersey.

9 Leonard George MENNITT (5I.) was born on 27 August 1901 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He was born on 27 August 1902 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He married Katherine STURTZ (5I.$), daughter of Peter STURTZ and Anna Maria HENRICHS, on 27 September 1928 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He died on 28 March 1955 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio, at age 52. (11) Raymond Jerome MENNITT (5K.) was born on 13 July 1907 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He married Mary Elizabeth SERSAIN (5K.$), daughter of Charles J. SERSAIN and Lydia Ann SERSAIN, circa 1929. He died on 18 June 1935 at Fulton Co., Ohio, at age 27 in an automobile accident. He was buried on 21 June 1935 at Calvary Cemetery, Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. 2 Kenneth William DANIELS (2B.) was born on 19 September 1910 at Chesaning, Saginaw Co., Michigan. He married Margaret Theresa ZEILER (3L.), daughter of Andrew ZEILER Sr. (6C.) and Theresa SCHWAB (7A.) (see ZEILER - SCHWAB FAMILY TREE), on 16 January 1934 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. They resided between 1935 and 1938 at 259 Elmhurst Ave., Highland Park, Wayne Co., Michigan. They resided between 1938 and 1944 at 6336 Georgeland, Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan, and between 1944 and 1983 at 9218 Abington, Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan. They resided between 1982 and 1985 at 37789 Hixford Place, 'Willow Creek Apartments, Westland, Wayne Co., Michigan. He died on 25 January 1985 at Southfield, Oakland Co., Michigan, at age 74. He was buried on 29 January 1985 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, Oakland Co., Michigan. He was a Ford, Chevy and Use Car Mechanic. Their children were:

8 Frederick Andrew GRIESER (2H.) was also known as Junior. He was the child of Mary Mennitt (5A) and Fred Grieser (5A.%). He was born on 3 April 1927 at Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio. He was a Musican in the United States Army around the end of World War Two. He married Lucille Marie DIEMER (2H.$), daughter of Mathias Nicholas DIEMER and Josephine Ann KRIENBRICK, on 16 June 1951 at New Bavaria, Ohio. He died on 18 May 1985 at Napoleon, Henry Co., Ohio, at age 58. He was buried on 21 May 1985 at St. Augustine Cemetery, Napoleon, Henry Co., Ohio. He was owner of Napoleon Milk Company. Their children were:
