Michael Rondot Remarques

What is a Remarque?

REMARQUED PRINTS - this term applies to an original sketch in pencil added to a print margin by the artist.
it usually has an association with the theme and greatly enhances the value of the print,
since each sketch is an original to which the artist adds his additional signature and often the date completed,
it is a very affordable and unique way of owning a Michael Rondot ORIGINAL

Below are a few examples of the kind of
personal and unique 'remarques' you can have on YOUR
special Limited Edition Print

Please remember, you can have ANYTHING added to your print,
below are just a few examples.

The first three are taken from our Buccaneer 'Blue,- Fire' special offer.
They represent three of the Gulf War Buccaneers, XW547 'Guinness Girl'
(the first Buccaneer to take part in the attacks on Iraq on the 2nd February 1991),
XW533 'Miss Jolly Roger' and XV863, 'Sea Witch'
(currently on gate guard duties at her long time happy home, RAF Lossiemouth, Scotland).

XW547, 'Guinness Girl' 'Pauline'
was the VERY FIRST BUCCANEER to go into action during the Gulf War. It was on the 2nd February 1991 that '547' along with 4 Tornado's and one other 'Bucc' attacked a vital road bridge over the River Euphrates, 120 South of Baghdad. With a round trip of 3½ hours with AAR and F-15 escort, the jets attacked the bridge from the south west. Each Tornado, with its 3 x 1000lb high explosive laser guided bombs slung beneath it, waited for the "Happy mate", radio call from the Buccaneer crew to confirm that the 'Bucc' had 'spiked' and designated the bridge for the LGB's to lock onto. Needless to say, the bridge was totally destroyed.

XW533, Miss Jolly Roger, Fiona

XV863, Sea Witch 'Debbie'
(On the gate at RAF Lossiemouth, Scotland.)
