Multilingual Kern Data Classes
Average representative number of pairs are shown within brackets [ ]. These data are derived from typical text typefaces and may be quite different (more data or less data) for other typefaces. Character set versions are shown within parentheses ( ). « (Unicode) » implies version 2.0 or later. « (PFS) » includes (in addition to Unicode) archaic, historic, religious, Americanist, IPA, and typographic characters not included in current Unicode/ISO10646. Some duplications in PFS may occur with versions of Unicode beyond 2.0.

K0: Kern data only for placement of glyphs within composite characters (like combining marks) and other special functions (like fraction representation); punctuation not included.

K1: Minimal basic kern data added to K0 including pairs containing accented characters; case rules applied; data less than | ± 5/1000 | excluded; punctuation included; pair signature rules applied for some alphabets.
