I learnt to fly hang gliders 10 years ago. After giving up flying a year ago I've just started paragliding. It's an addictive passion that just won't let go. I've had some fantastic experiences over the years and met some really nice people. Didier "I go for the bombardiers, yes?", Phil "You'd better get the take off right 'cause they'll never get an ambulance up here", Morton "It's a bit rough" "'ey?"
A big success with "Ultimate Poker" for the Psion 3a/c, Siena and the 5. Using graphics and digitised voices, realistically simulates a game of poker between 4 computer generated people and one human. Over 300 registered users and thousands of downloads.
Always a background interest, I enjoy off road cycling and cycle as much as possible for health.
I've just got my home made recumbent cycle going and it's added a whole new dimension to cycling.

Towards the end of last year I started watching Bob Ross on the TLC channel. I was so inspired I had to have a go. This is the current state of my art:
Bob Ross,
changed my perception of reality
This is about half way between a having a hobby and having a job. Not a lot of work but a lot of responsibility.
I love long holidays abroad by car and caravan. We've spent a lot of time in France and Spain. My favourite places are Lake Annecy for flying the French Alps and Jalon Valley, Costa Blanca for winter sun, good food and a feeling of evolved genetic compatibility.
I ride a Honda CD200, but my pride and joy
is a carefully restored 1969 BSA Bantam B175
DIY is not really my hobby , it's my wife's, I make silly ambitious suggestions then have to carry them out. Currently I'm building a new roof on our home.
