This year, Alan excelled himself by embarking on a cycle ride from Lands End to Brighton - a trip of exactly 321 miles! This feat of endurance is so impressive that the website has created it a page all of its own, which can be visited here.

The club are always indebted to our sponsors and various fundraisers who do a vital job in ensuring our continued survival. Without people putting time and effort into the club, we would not be able to progress in the way we want to, so sponsorship is a vital part of the running of the club. In the past we have had some fantastic efforts made on the club's behalf, including such things as Car Boot Sales, a Summer Ball, a Sponsored Bounce, an evening at Hove Greyhound Races and others.

We would like to say a big thank you to all our fundraisers, particularly Lynda Heath who, over the past couple of years has laboured long and hard in the often fruitless sarch for funds and sponsorship.

One other person who should not be passed by without a mention at this point is Charlotte Harvey's mum, Paula. She has quietly gone about the business of badgering some of the local captains of industry and has been remarkably successful in securing several substantial sponsorships.
