The Home Page of Peter R Wright known to not a few people as just P.R.W.

Thankyou for getting this far; if you are short of time go straight to Little Neston Methodist Church Online bit it's a lot more interesting. I'm not 125 years old for one thing (not quite anyway).

Still with us? O.K. NETSURFING This page was produced using Claris Homepage, it was a toss up between this and Adobe Pagemill, Homepage called heads. The first SOFTWARE I bought was Claris Works, then as I work in the prepress of a large printed carton manufacturer and so am interested in graphics I mess about with Illustrator and Freehand. For page make-up and typesetting (Church Newsletters etc.) I use Quark Express. Image manipulation - one guess give up? O.K. Photoshop. (I hope Adobe appreciate me getting this plug in for their product; I suppose it's yet another Photoshop plug-in:-)). Landscape generation - KPT Bryce 2 is brilliant. For netsurfing I use Netscape Navigator of course and I am running Microsoft Explorer for the Mac.

HARDWARE: Powermac 6100 with 40 megs of ram; on the S.C.S.I. chain - D2 hard drive 1.2 gb; D2 C.D. Quad speed. Printer H.P. 560c Deskwriter (amazing print quality on the right paper). U.S. Robotics 14,400 mac & fax.

NOTSURFING When I'm not either working, netsurfing or windsurfing, I have to walk the collies, as you can see by the pic they have very long and loose coats so need lots of grooming. Here's the deal: I walk them and my wife Sue (computer and windsurfing widow combined) feeds and grooms them. I also have two daughters Diane who is studying I.T. at Chester College and running a Herbalife Diet Franchise and the famous actress Nicola Westmoore, well she better be famous after we've paid out all that money for the drama course (Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff). Our holiday home is in Nefyn on the Lleyn Peninsula in North Wales (see map). From there the dogs and I can walk on the high mountain ranges (high for U.K. that is for anyone from the Alpine regions, Rockies, Himalayas etc. that may be reading this).

WINDSURFING Neston is close to West Kirby also on the Wirral Peninsula which is one of the U.K.s premier windsurfing locations having an 80 acre lake on the coast with a times speed trial run along the coastal wall used for National and International speed events. It is only just long enough however giving rise to either brilliant carves or massive wipeouts in howling winds at the end of the run. Any wind with westerly in it is O.K. easterlies are a waste of time due to wind shadow from the coastal buildings. Nefyn previously mentioned is close to good wave sailing locations, Nefyn itself, Abersoch, Hells Mouth and a shortish drive to Rhosneigr on the Island of Angelsey which is a very good wave location.

EQUIPMENT Tiga Slalom 310;Tiga Light Wind Race 298; Sails - 7m Tushingham Eclipse; 6m Neil Pryde 4WD; 5m Tiga Wave/Slalom; 4m Neil Pryde Dynamic for the mega days. STANDARD After many many hours of practise, being rescued by the Nefyn Lifeboat when halfway to Angelsey (in the early days, I can at least turn round now) and many many hours of studying training videos and reading magazines I can honestly say I'm still hopeless.

Anyway here's some cool windsurfing links:
