The Bible is usually tested by secular resources. Actually secular resources could also be tested by the Scriptures. The Bible is classified as myth by librarians and humanities curricula. Myth can mean fictitious story, but Webster's dictionary also states that myth is a traditional story with a factual basis. As research continues one sees that the scriptures are reliable accounts of history, government, geography, botany and culture. The below references are just five of many which show factual evidence that biblical writers were talking about real people at real places with real geography.

For the first time archaeologists have found the name of a biblical city and its kings at the actual
site where the city was believed to have existed.

"Has the Garden of Eden been located at last?"- Satellite photos show two fossil river beds, one
across N. Saudi Arabia and one across S. Persia (Iran) which join the Tigris-Euphrates. This
reconfirms with new photos the feasibility of the existence of a river named Pison or Gihon.

"For this Agar is Mount Sinai in Arabia..."
Ref: Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible K-Q pp 375 2nd col.
One theory is that Mr. Sinai is in Midian which is in Saudi Arabia.

Pictures of a mountain guarded by the Arabian Department of Antiquities. The Saudis believe this
is a holy mountain as confirmed by a phone call by a Saudi student at OU. Many facts in
William's book confirm that Mt. Sinai exists and is in Saudi Arabia. The geography of the
scriptures again is supported.
