December 1999: Snickers Salad

From the potluck dinner proving kitchens at OSLC we offer our recipe of the month! Pot-luck headquarters in Lake Woebegone indicated that the theme for 1999 should be Salad.

Snickers Salad

½ c. butter                                 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple

2c. powered sugar                           3 apples, diced

2 Tbsp. Milk                                1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip

3 Snickers bars, cut into small pieces      1 (8 oz.) dry-roasted peanuts

Combine first 3 ingredients. Add Cool Whip, pineapple, and apples. Add bars and nuts before serving.
