Since January 2000 one of Josef Elgurts pictures is displayed in  A Teacher's Guide to the Holocaust.  This great Web site offers a large collection of selected sources, lesson plans and links for Holocaust studies to teachers in Florida.

Among other artists and survivors of the shoa Josef Elgurt is listed in the section Art in response to the Holocaust now.  For people who wants to know more about other aspects of his arts and life, there's also a link to our Web site  Hommage à Josef Elgurt.
Regarding to the director of this project at the University of South Florida, Roy Winkelman, they also produce 6,000 copies of the site on CD each summer for distribution to Florida schools in the fall. The Florida Department of Education pays for the project, so this attractive CDs are distributed for free.  We like to express our's thanks to Roy Winkelman for cooperation!
