Introduction

The electronic darkroom is here! Using the latest hardware and software, you can produce stunning images from your original photographs taken conventionally on Transparency or Print film or Digitally with a ‘mega-pixel’ Digital Camera. With Image manipulation software you can produce ‘in house’, a quality of work that hitherto only photographic professionals could dream of.

Scanners

We can advise on and supply a range of scanners including Flat Bed A4 and Transparency/Negative film scanners for working with your conventional images.

Digital Cameras

For less demanding work a Digital Camera could be just the solution for you as the current range of ‘mega-pixel’ cameras are capable of producing excellent quality up to at least A4 size at relatively low cost.

Image Manipulation

Once the basic image is on the computer’s hard drive, the fun begins. Modern image manipulation software replaces the filter, lighting, dodging, burning, tinting and cropping in the darkroom completely, allowing you complete artistic freedom from the relative comfort of your computer desk. Astonishing visual effects and improvements are available directly from your PC and, with the use of a digital camera, all within minutes of taking the photograph.

Photographic Printers

There is no point in producing high quality images on your computer if you can’t then show them to the world! Our range of photographic quality inkjet printers and quality papers will show your finished work at its best.

Storage Devices

Naturally, high quality photographic images contain a lot of ‘information’ and this information takes up a lot of storage space. Recordable CD-ROMS and other external media storage devices ensure that your work is stored safely and is easily transportable. We can advise on the best storage method for your particular application.
