Welcome to my personal page devoted to my Westfield Sports Car Project. Please ensure that you read the disclaimer below for your own safety.

This is the first project of its kind that I have ever undertaken and it is also my first foray into the world of motor car engineering/maintenance. I have absolutely no previous experience in this subject, just a will to succeed and learn from the process.

Throughout the build process I was given tremendous support by the staff at Westfield and having now completed the project I would have no hesitation in recommending other first time builders to buy a Westfield kit. The experience and thrill of building my first car has been enormous and I still have the pleasure of driving my creation!

The following pages show my successes and failures which culminated in the completion of the car in time for a 'W' registration on 1st March, 2000 and in answer to all the visitors to this site who have asked me 'why did I decide on a Westfield?', please visit the Report page which will tell you the whole story.

DISCLAIMER

Please note that the construction notes shown here are an account of how I built my kit and it should not under any circumstances be assumed to be the correct way of doing the work. Any modifications that I have made have been entirely at my own risk and other constructors should not carry out similar modifications unless they have satisfied themselves completely that they are both safe and legal. Your safety whilst building and driving a kit car is your own responsibility and it should not be assumed that any of my methods or order of construction  are either safe or legal. No information on this site is a recommendation to carry out any of the work involved, it is simply a personal record of one person's project.
