A New Venue for Oxford Meetings! |
![]() |
| The regular group meetings will now be held at the John Radcliffe Hospital Headington, in the George Pickering Post Graduate Centre on level 3, and will begin at 7.30 pm on the last Thursday of each month. No meeting will be held in December. We feel the new venue is ideal as it has a bar for social gathering, as well as a very well appointed conference room, making it ideal for presentations from speakers. NSE information and the video library will be available at each meeting. This is your access point, we hope you will use it. | |
January Speaker
|
Our first meeting of 98 will be on Thursday the 29th January at 7.30 pm. Our speaker will be Christina Niner, the Head Teacher of Springfield Special School in Witney, who will present her views on the impact of epilepsy on children, both in special and mainstream schools. Questions will be welcome. |
We hope that these regular meetings will provide both an informative and social evening for all those affected by epilepsy; where both problems and solutions may be exchanged, where experts in the field may be heard and questioned on the latest developments in both medical treatment and social implications of epilepsy. Bus services to and from the John Radcliffe Hospital from Oxford city and the surrounding district are good, and for those who cannot use them, or who live in remote locations, Network funded taxies may be arranged. |
