Difficulty Level (1=easy, 10=difficult): 1 |

Tools Needed |
Symptoms: The paper
in the paper tray is skewed and twisted as it goes into the printer (see
picture below.) If you feed paper from the manual feed slot, the paper feeds
fine.
Cause: The corner tab on the paper tray is bent down. This is usually caused by pressing down on the paper when loading the tray. |
|
| Solution: Locate
the metal corner tab on the tray (right rear corner as you pull it out of
the printer.) Originally, the corner tab should have a slight bent angle
at the tip. Due to improper paper loading, the corner tab might be bent more
than usual. Use your fingers to bend the tab back to a horizontal position
(the tip still should have a bent angle.)
