What's new at the Satellite Remote Sensing and Archaeology Website.

August 99

Apologies to all of you out there who have registered this page with URL-Minder - you will have been inundated with emails saying that this page has changed over the past couple of weeks. Further significant changes have been made and include:

A Bulletin Board, Guest Book and ability to search the site courtesy of BeSeen MySearch.

A selection of image processing resources available on the WWW.

A site map and enhanced visitor statistics.

More pictures of my cats (not really related to satellite archaeology but nice to include!). (22 Aug 99).

After a further 15 months in the wilderness of cyberspace, the site has had a major facelift. New features include:

New Homepage.

Image atlas.

Additional examples of satellite images of archaeological features. (18 Aug 99).

After 8 months in the wilderness of cyberspace, a major upgrade has taken place including the addition of 3 examples of Russian KVR-1000 images of archaeological features in the UK:

Stonehenge, UK.

The hillfort at Figsbury Ring, UK.

Crop-marked enclosures and "Celtic fields" on Boreland Hill, UK.

More references have been added to the Satellite Archaeology Bibliography (09 May 98).

Russian KVR-1000 image of the Pyramids at Giza, Egypt (20 Jul 97).

April 97
