FreeLook provides basic viewing of diverse image datasets, including standard image types such as BMP, GIF, TIFF, and JPEG. Unique to this product is the ability to display hyperspectral images and spectra and to read, synthesize, and display images from advanced polarimetric SAR systems, the JPL AIRSAR (complex Stokes Matrix) and SIR-C (Single-Look Complex and Multilook Complex). Also included is direct support for ENVI format images, Landsat (NLAPS), GEOTIFF, HDF-MAS 50 (Modis Simulator), RadarSat, and Planetary Data System (PDS) remote sensing data types. In addition to these, based on image parameters entered by the user, FreeLook also reads any image data stored in flat binary format.
