Even though we are still not yet at "real steps" the handrails can be helpful in the Winter, when it may be icy. Although, you will find the local people are very good at gritting these paths! Here you can see that we were in the full beauty of the autumn fall.

A few years ago, there was an event, just a little further down that concerns many a Treppen inhabitant. That was a "land slide". In the meantime, the damage has been repaired and the hill-side reinforced to modern standards, but it still reminds us all that living here is not all just quaint and carefree!
