Here we have to cross the road again (the Hauptstrasse), which zigzags down through the area. On this occasion, the cars will come from your right hand side. Be careful, to check before you step out onto the road, as there is no pathway and you will be right in the front of a series of cars, the bus and often worse a horde of cyclists - "worse" as they tend to be silent! When all is clear, head for the gap opposite. It may look like the entrance to someone's backyard, but that is just the way it is in the "Treppen". So head up the path opposite and then take the next left,  towards the river Elbe.
