Translation of Light 3

DEFINITION
The third version of translation is when the two main significators are not in any form of major aspect. They can be brought together by the action of one of the fast moving planets, usually the Moon, separating from one significator and applying to the other by major aspect within the moiety of orbs.

Although the three outer planets are never used as main significators, they can be involved in translations of light.

Examples
Example 1: Venus ruling the ascendant at 26 Aries and Jupiter ruling the 8th house of the quesited at 7 Taurus are not in major aspect. The Moon at 29 Leo has separated by trine from Venus and applies by trine to Jupiter transferring the light between the two planets. Venus and Jupiter can now be judged as if in major aspect, resulting in a positive answer to the question.

Example 2: Jupiter ruling the ascendant at 10 Sagittarius and Saturn ruling the 3rd house of the quesited at 24 Pisces are not in major aspect. The Moon at 16 Sagittarius has separated by conjunction with Jupiter and applies by square to Saturn transferring the light between the two planets. Jupiter and Saturn can now be judged as if in major aspect, resulting in a positive answer to the question.

The Moon can also transfer the light of Venus at 15 Libra to Saturn, although Venus is not a significator.

Example 3: Mercury ruling the ascendant at 17 Capricorn and Venus ruling the 2nd house of the quesited at 24 Aquarius are not in major aspect. The Moon at 19 Aries has separated by square with Mercury and applies by sextile to Venus transferring the light between the two planets. Mercury and Venus can now be judged as if in major aspect, resulting in a positive answer to the question.

The Moon can also transfer the light of Mars at 15 Sagittarius to Venus, although Mars is not a significator.

Translations of light 3 by parallel of declination

Example 1: The Moon at 13N49 separates by parallel from Saturn at 05N23 and applies by parallel to Venus at 21N08. The Moon translates the light of Saturn to Venus although they are outside the moiety of orbs.

Example 2: The Moon at 09N28 separates by parallel from Saturn at 03N42 and applies by contraparallel to Jupiter at 15S23. The Moon translates the light of Saturn to Jupiter although they are outside the moiety of orbs.

Translations of light 3 by antiscia

Example 1: Mercury at 01.33 Virgo separates by square from the Sun's antiscion at 24.47 Taurus and applies by conjunction to Saturn's antiscion at 09.40 Virgo therefore translates the light of the Sun to Saturn. The Sun at 05.13 Leo does not aspect Saturn's antiscion.

Example 2: The Sun at 15.11 Cancer separates by trine from Jupiter's antiscion at 09.13 Scorpio and applies by trine to Mars' antiscion point at 21.32 Pisces. The Sun translates the light of Jupiter to Mars. Mars at 08.28 Libra does not aspect Jupiter's antiscion.
