Collection of light 2

DEFINITION
When the two main significators have not yet perfected their aspect but each applies by major aspect to a third planet, this third planet can act as a transmitter and collect their lights bringing them forward into aspect. Whether the planets apply by direct or retrograde motion to the transmitting planet is of no importance. Furthermore, the transmitting planet is able to collect more than one pair of significators provided they are within the moiety of orbs.

Although the three outer planets are never used as main significators, they can be involved in collections of light.

Example 1: The Moon at 02.51 Cancer applies by trine to retrograde Jupiter at 14.01 Scorpio. Mars at 10.27 Pisces applies by trine to Jupiter. Jupiter therefore collects both their lights and brings them into trine before they perfect their aspect in the ephemeris.

Example 2: The Moon at 02.51 Cancer applies by trine to Saturn at 06.04 Pisces. Jupiter at 14.01 Scorpio applies by trine to Saturn by retrograde motion. Saturn therefore collects both their lights bringing them into trine before they perfect their aspect in the ephemeris.

Example 3: Mercury at 12.19 Gemini applies by sextile to Saturn at 18.31 Aries. Venus at 15.41 Gemini applies by sextile to Saturn. Retrograde Jupiter at 21.53 Aquarius applies by sextile to Saturn. Saturn therefore collects all of their lights bringing them into their various aspects before they perfect in the ephemeris.

Saturn therefore collects the following pairs of planets:
1. Mercury and Venus.
2. Mercury and Jupiter.
3. Venus and Jupiter.

Collection of light 2 by parallel of declination.

Example 1: The Sun at 23N07 applies by contraparallel to Jupiter at 15S12. Mercury at 24N15 applies by contraparallel to Jupiter. Jupiter therefore collects both their lights and brings them into parallel before they perfect in the ephemeris.

Example 2: Venus at 21N08 applies by contraparallel to Uranus at 18S56. Jupiter at 15S14 applies by parallel to Uranus. Uranus therefore collects both their lights bringing them into contraparallel before they perfect in the ephemeris.

Collection of light 2 by the antiscia

Example 1: The Sun at 15.11 Cancer applies by trine to Uranus' antiscion point at 22.27 Scorpio. The Moon at 13.46 Leo applies by square to Uranus' antiscion point. Uranus therefore collects both their lights. The Moon applies to the Sun's antiscion at 14.49 Gemini.

Example 2: The Moon at 13.46 Leo applies by sextile to the Sun's antiscion point at 14.49 Gemini. Venus at 10.19 Leo applies by sextile to the Sun's antiscion point. The Sun therefore collects both their lights. The Moon applies to Venus' antiscion at 19.41 Taurus.
