Not even in Trois Rivieres. I already searched the records. He is listed

good due to his health. Mother and siblings stayed in St Maurice.

chipsue@aol.com. My grandfather's name was Louis Poirier, b. Menominee, Michigan (about
1869). He changed the name to Parry, thence to Perry. His father's name
was Henry Poirier, birthdate and birthplace unknown. However, Henry
Poirier spent considerable time at Bay Settlement, in Brown County,
Wisconsin (presently, Green Bay) and married into a large Metis family
there, the Desautels. His wife, Marguerite Deshautels, has one of the
first birth records on file in the state of Wisconsin (b. 1848), and was
the daughter of Jean-Baptiste Desautels. After her (apparent) death (date
unknown), Henry married a cousin of hers of the family of Francis
Desautels, also of Bay Settlement. My family and I have been looking for
the birthplace of Henry Poirier (we hypothesize Sorel, Quebec, or nearby)
for seven years, on a hunch ... and have come up with nothing. Anyone
with any information? Reply to: Mark Perry,

Reply to: olla@tekstar.com. I believe I am descended from Jules Trotier (b. 1590, d.1655) but have a
connection problem in proving Paul Trotier/Truckey is s/o Francois
Trotier My ancestors, Jean Verret and Jeanne de la Prec Verret lived in St. Eutrope of Xaintes, France in
the early 1600's. A son was born to them, Michel Verret in France in
1646. Michel Joseph Verret was born to Michel 24 May 1696 in Canada -
possibly Charlesbourg. Michel Joseph moved to Louisiana in 1724 and
died in 1748(9). Does anyone have any information regarding Michel
Joseph before he departed Canada and why he may have departed? I
believe his departure was not related to the British invasion of the
east coast of Canada and that, in fact, the family was french canadian
and not french acadian. There are a large number of the Verret
(Verrette) family living in the Quebec area. Reply to: Kevin John Verrette,
