Sacred Phantom's Pedigree
Joe Reed P-3

Joe Reed P-3
1938 - 1946

Foaled in 1938, Joe Reed was described as a 14.2 hand, 1000 pound horse, with four white socks and blaze. Joe Reed was the product of an unintentional breeding between a racing mare, Della Moore, and Joe Blair, a TB who was known for his speed over short distances.  Della Moore's own Dam is questionable.  The American Quarter Horse Association lists her dam as La Hernadez, yet researchers name her dam as Belle, by Sam Rocket.  Joe Reed P-3 passed on his speed to his get. Joe Reed died from a heart attack May 17, 1947.

Some of Joe Reed's best offspring include:

Joe Reed II, Little Fanny, Catechu, Reed McCue, Joe Sunday, Joe Bob, Sue Reed, Joe Darter, and Red Joe of Arizona.
