Getting their name from the lyrics on a Simple Minds album, the Cocteau twins are from Grangemouth in Scotland.Check out their Official Site. Below are a couple of pictures of Liz Frazer (the vocalist) I took at a concert at the assembly rooms in Edinburgh in 1985. After this concert we missed the last bus home to Glasgow and had to wander around Edinburgh all night......not much fun. I got these pictures by being one of the first in the hall and getting a space right at the front of the stage. Did not use a flash, as that would spoil the stage lighting and the atmosphere. Used Kodak T1000 film (1000ISO) 200mm lens, wide open at f3.5 and 60th s shutter speed. Proccessed and printed the film myself, colour correcting the extreme saturation caused by the stage lights.

Very much under rated and now sadly split up, Altered Images where a Glasgow band with some great music. Their last album "Bite" was the best ever. Here are some pictures I took at their fairwell concert at the Penthouse in Glasgow in 1984. Also their best concert ever.
