" I have seen what I believe to be excerpts from a film about the "Battle of Mons". I think the film was simply called "Mons"and was made in the 20's or 30's. Does anyone have any info(or a Video copy) of this???. I would be gratefull for your help.
From Lt.Col Brian Smith:
I am researching the social, legal and practical questions involved in the long standing and important debate taking place on Courts Martial of the Great War, in particular those Courts Martial which resulted in a sentence of death being passed by G.C.M, and F.G.C.M between 1914 and 1922, both those commuted and those carried out.
If you would be prepared to respond to a ten point questionairre, I should be grateful to have an e.mail from you so that I can present the questionaire for your consideration.
Complete confidentiality will be observed: the results will be presented as cold statistics resulting from an interested sample.
Should the sample be large enough to suggest worthwhile statistics, then I shall send the results to all those who participate, and credit the participants in any conclusion that can be presented to this piece of research.
Many thanks, Brian Smith
