The Henley Society of Meccano Engineers
The Henley Society was founded by Geoff Wright of M W Models in 1972 and has met in Henley on Thames since. Membership cost £15 per year. Members receive the Society Newsletter published 4 times a year.

The Henley Society meets 4 times a year. All meetings are held in the Christ Church Centre at 46 Reading Road, Henley, RG9 1AG. The venue is within easy walking distance of Henley Railway Station, and has 50 car parking places (These can fill up quickly. There is also parking at the Railway Station for £2.70 all day).

Saturday 30 August (Gathering) 9.00 - 17.00 Featuring ISM AGM, Golden Spanner Award and with Dave Taylor, Mike Rhodes.
Saturday 29 November (AGM) 13.00 - 17.00 with Dave Taylor
New members and visitors are always welcome. Models to display are always welcome. The Gathering is open to all clubs and enthusiasts who would like to spend the day with us, entrance fee £2 to cover costs.
The Meccano shop closed in 2003 and is no longer in Henley. MW Mailorder is now run by Howard Somerville..
Geoff and Betty Wright were awarded the Golden Spanner Award in 2007.
