A listserv is a distribution list of email addresses that share electronic mail on a given subject. Subscribers to the Kawasaki Syndrome/Kawasaki Disease List send messages on the subject to kawasaki-l@hawaii.edu, and they are distributed to all other subscribers. It functions like an electronic discussion group.
Here's how to subscribe:
1. Create an email message and address it to: listproc@hawaii.edu
2. In the body of the message, type: SUBSCRIBE kawasaki-l FIRSTNAME LASTNAME (make sure that's typed the word kawasaki, a hyphen and a small L)
3. Send the message. You will get an automatic reply confirming your subscription and giving you further instructions on using the list (including how to "unsubscribe" permanently or temporarily).
