GREAT DEAL of the material on Claudel has been written or compiled by her relative Reine-Marie Paris, and while excellent in many respects, it sometimes romanticizes the sculptor unnecessarily.
Frederic V. Grunfelds biography of Rodin is a trove of valuable information on Claudel; no one writing about her (or any of Rodins other female students) should fail to consult it.Click on LINKED titles to order them from Amazon.com, or read about them first at my online bookstore.
