I consider myself one of the luckiest people in the world to have discovered this car in the Roundel magazine, BMW CCA's national publication. Immense thanks go out to the first owner, Brad, who is even more of a fanatic than myself in the way he takes care of his cars. Brad said he hardly drove this car because he "wanted to keep it perfect." Well, that he did! So much so that in the ten years that he owned it, he never shut the doors or trunk lid all the way in order to preserve the soft rubber seals. Wow!

A little history -- Only 1600 M6's were sold in the US in 1987 & 1988. This actual car, M6 #1407, was used in some print ads for Santa Cruz Motors in the late 1980s. The longest this car has ever been outdoors was for three weeks after the 1989 Northern California earthquake. It was in the garage during the quake and narrowly missed having debris strewn on top of it. A television landed on the hood of the car parked next to it in that garage. Someone was watching over this baby!
